(you probably have done already but I tend to get two copies of anything the group does s one always goes missing or gets dogeared - means you can have a pristine one to scan or keep)

I admit to a certain amount of dressing up this week with the result that the denison's in the washing machine once more in the perhaps forlorn hope of fading it just a little bit. Mine still seems far too new.
EDIT: completely forgot the original point of my post - hugeness of beret is a good thing. I'm always irritated by those modern small ones. For example Paddy Ashdown's programme on Operation Frankton this week was almost irrevocably ruined for me by the small berets - I even gave up looking for any other errors as I was so focussed on them.
I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.
